Batterson Park Conservancy

Batterson Park Conservancy was formed through a grass-roots effort led by a group of citizens concerned about the deterioration of this park. Its mission is to guide and support the care and keep of the park for the use of the communities it serves. The Conservancy includes representation from the City of Hartford, the City of New Britain, and the Town of Farmington.

Batterson Park Conservancy is modeled after Elizabeth Park Conservancy’s successful stewardship of Elizabeth Park and will ensure Batterson Park’s long-term viability for future generations. Planned improvements include revenue-generating opportunities that will eventually provide the steady stream of revenue needed to operate Batterson Park.
